Mothers who receive help in the early days tend to have an easier time breastfeeding and tend to breastfeed longer.

As an International Board Certified Lactation Counselor I will meet with you in the comfort of your home or via telehealth and review your baby’s feeding history, assess your baby’s suck and your milk supply, review your medical history and past breastfeeding experiences, weigh your baby and assist with a feeding. There will be plenty of time set aside to ask questions and discuss your breastfeeding goals together.

I will create a care plan and a follow-up plan for you.  The goal is to provide care until your baby is feeding well. Initial appointments generally last 60-90 minutes and follow-up appointments are usually 45-60 minutes. Appointments typically take place in the comfort of your home and partners and family members are welcome to attend.
